Ip Ho Yuen reigns at the Superstack Madness

The Superstack Madness was dominated throughout by Ip Ho Yuen who amassed a titanic stack well before the bubble round that was never cracked. To close it out, Yuen eliminated the last three players at the final table. On the last hand he called the all in holding

Andrei Berinov lands maiden title at Mini Deepstack

Russia’s Andrei Berinov bagged his first ever tracked live title right here on Asian soil. Berinov outlasted a field fo 77 entries, overcoming the Asian dominated final table. For his efforts, he earned VND 70,500,000 (~USD 2,925) and a trophy to start off a collection.

Vietnam’s Tran Minh Thang is having a successful year on the felt having just scored his career third trophy and first USOP win at the the festival’s Turbo event. Tran outlasted a field of 42 runners, defeating Japan’s Shimizu Keisuke at heads up. USOP Taiwan Main Event champion Edwin Dela Cruz finished in 3rd place.

USOP Hanoi – Heads Up Challenge first round match-ups revealed!
One of the most enjoyable will be the Tag Team Event. Strategy is the key. The winning team will receive two trophies, one for each player. Buy in is VND 6,600,000 per player / VND 13,200,000 per team. Teammates must register together. Event takes place on September 8, 2023.
The first 8 levels is individual play with teams battling at separate tables. As soon as Level 9 kicks in, teammates combine their stacks and play Tag Team poker from then on. Teammates can switch off anytime as long as they are not in an active hand.
